Kalki 2898 AD, the sci-fi epic film directed by Nag Ashwin, has breached the ₹500 crore mark at the worldwide box office.
The film, which stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani, has achieved this milestone within the first four days of its release.

Kalki 2898 AD has collected ₹486 crore globally, with ₹346 crore coming from the Indian market and ₹142 crore from the overseas markets. The film has performed exceptionally well in the Telugu-speaking states, earning ₹167.5 crore, and has also done well in the Hindi market, collecting ₹111.5 crore.
Director Nag Ashwin has expressed his gratitude for the journey of building Vyjayanthi Movies, the production company behind Kalki 2898 AD, over the past decade. He acknowledged the initial struggles and challenges they faced, but is now proud and blessed to see the success of their films, including Kalki 2898 AD, which he considers a “small milestone in film history.”
