In a candid conversation with fellow contestant Ranvir Shorey, Naezy shared that he became a “rebel” after facing opposition from his parents regarding his decision to pursue rap music.
Naezy also made some shocking revelations about the impact of the Bollywood film Gully Boy, which was based on his life. He disclosed that he was imprisoned for nearly a year during the filming of Gully Boy, due to “false allegations” and jealousy from people in the system who wanted to “bother” him.

Naezy stated that this incident severely impacted his career, as he was unable to capitalize on the success of Gully Boy and reach the level of fame and success he was poised to achieve. He said “My life was spoiled after that one incident. I would never be able to achieve that level of success again in my career”.
