Pakistani actor Tauqeer Nasir has accused Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan of copying his work in the movie Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. Nasir, a senior actor in the Pakistani drama industry, claims that SRK’s role in the 2006 film was a copy of his own work, and that director Karan Johar should have given him credit.
The controversy erupted recently, with Nasir making the allegations in multiple interviews. He asserts that Shah Rukh Khan character in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, which dealt with infidelity and an extramarital affair, was very similar to roles he had portrayed in Pakistani television dramas.

Nasir has slammed Karan Johar for not acknowledging the alleged plagiarism and not giving him due credit. The Pakistani actor’s claims have sparked a debate on social media, with some supporting his stance while others argue that similarities in storylines and characters are common in the entertainment industry.
Neither Shah Rukh Khan nor Karan Johar have responded publicly to Tauqeer Nasir’s accusations as of now. The alleged plagiarism incident has once again highlighted the creative differences and tensions between the entertainment industries of India and Pakistan.
