Ever since actor Ranbir Kapoor came to know that he is going to become a father, his happiness knows no bounds. 39-year-old Ranbir married 29-year-old Alia Bhatt in April this year. After two-and-a-half months of marriage, Alia shared the good news of pregnancy with fans. Soon after the marriage, some people expressed surprise on Good News and started raising different types of questions. But according to Ranbir, he and Alia were already thinking about children before marriage. Ranbir said that he wanted to start his family because of his growing age.
There is a difference of 10-11 years between Ranbir-Alia
Ranbir Kapoor will turn 40 on September 28 and Alia Bhatt is 10-11 years younger than him. Ranbir said in an interview to ‘The Quint’ that he had started thinking that when his kids grow up, will he be fit enough to play with them? According to Ranbir, it was only at the thought of reaching the age of 40 that he started thinking about the child.
Ranbir said – Due to age, he decided to increase the family
Ranbir Kapoor said, ‘When people move towards 40s, such questions often come in their mind that at what age do you want children and when not. This also happens when a man reaches the age of 40. You start thinking that man, when my child turns 20, I will be 60. can i play with him? Will I be able to go on trekking?’

Karan Malhotra- Ranbir said two and a half years ago that he wants children soon
On the other hand, Karan Malhotra, director of the film ‘Shamshera’, revealed that Ranbir had told him two-and-a-half years ago that he wanted children as soon as possible. Karan Malhotra said, ‘Ranbir’s excitement to become a father is on a different level. I remember when I told him that we had a baby, his first reaction was ‘Mubarak. I will also become very soon yes, I will be too.’
