The sequel to the epic sci-fi film Kalki 2898 AD is confirmed to be in the works, with director Nag Ashwin revealing that it will take approximately three years to complete. Kamal Haasan, who plays the pivotal role of Supreme Yaskin, teased details about the sequel, stating that his character’s story arc is what intrigued him the most.

As per reports, the sequel will focus on Yaskin’s mission and how Ashwatthama (Amitabh Bachchan) and Bhairava (Prabhas) plan to confront him. The production team has already completed around 60% of the filming, with only the major portions remaining.
