Reaction of Akshay Kumar to criticism about releasing 4 films in one year

Akshay Kumar has responded strongly to criticism about him releasing 4-5 films per year, saying he is fed up of people questioning his work ethic. He argues that no one questions people for working hard, but they have a problem with him working a lot.

Kumar defended his decision to do 4 films a year, stating he will continue to do so in the future as well. He questioned why people criticize him for waking up early or sleeping early, saying “Morning is for waking up and night is for sleeping”.

Review of Sarfira : Akshay Kumar is Back

The actor clarified that when he mentions shooting a movie in 40 days, he is referring to his actual shoot days, while the total production time is longer, around 80-90 days on average. Kumar had 5 releases in 2022, including Bachchhan Paandey, Samrat Prithviraj, Raksha Bandhan, and Ram Setu in theaters, and Cuttputlli on Disney+ Hotstar.
