When Indian badminton player Parupalli Kashyap recently met legendary cricketer MS Dhoni at a wedding of Anant Ambani – Radhika Merchant, Kashyap introduced himself to Dhoni as Saina Nehwal’s husband. However, Dhoni’s response left Kashyap stunned.
Kashyap revealed that he thought he would need to introduce himself to MS Dhoni since not everyone follows badminton. But to his surprise, Dhoni recognized Kashyap and told him “I know who you are and you don’t need to tell me that you are Saina’s husband.”
