Payal Malik, a contestant on Bigg Boss OTT 3, revealed that she is the legal wife of YouTuber Armaan Malik, while Kritika Malik is his second wife. Payal clarified that Armaan did not convert to Islam for his second marriage, and that Kritika’s marriage to Armaan is not legally valid.
Payal Malik revealed in an interview that Armaan, whose real name was Sandeep, had married three times, not twice as previously reported.Payal clarified that Armaan’s first marriage was a child marriage in Haryana when he was a minor, which ended in divorce before he married Payal. She stated that his ex-wife has remarried and has children from her second marriage, and is now happy in her life
Payal admitted that she was devastated when Armaan married her best friend Kritika, but they eventually reconciled and are now living together as a family. She stated that she stayed away from Armaan for over a year with their son after his second marriage, but decided to work things out.

Payal also addressed criticism over the trio appearing to promote polygamy on Bigg Boss OTT 3. She asserted that they have never supported or promoted polygamous marriages in their vlogs or interviews.
In a video shared by JioCinema, Kritika joked about sharing a towel with Payal and Armaan, saying that if she can share a husband, a towel is a minor thing. Payal dismissed this as Kritika’s cheerful nature and said it was not a big deal.
